Guess what? Google has rolled out a cool update to Google Calendar that’s right up our alley!
Remember when they introduced location sharing last year? Well, they’ve taken it a step further.
Now, you can set multiple locations for any single day on your calendar. Whether you’re bouncing between the office and home or hustling as a mobile worker, Google’s got your back.
Imagine this: you’re at the office for half the day, and then you’re off to a client meeting. With this update, your team will know exactly when and where to find you.
Google’s all about making work smarter, not harder. They get that many of us are still navigating remote work or a mix of office and remote days. This tweak is tailor-made for hybrid work setups.
It’s available for Workspace account holders, including:
- Google Workspace Business Standard/Plus
- Enterprise Standard/Plus
- Education Fundamentals/Standard/Plus
- The Teaching and Learning Upgrade
- Nonprofits
Personal accounts will have to wait a bit for access, unfortunately.
The location feature is turned on by default. But if you’d rather not be found by your colleagues (we totally get it; distractions happen), you can easily switch it off.
