    How could passkeys improve the way you work?

    OK, so we all hate passwords. We hate having to think them up, trying to remember them, and then we have to do it again. Ugh!

    So, we take shortcuts like using a pet’s name or using the same password across several accounts. But those are bad habits that could put your business at risk.

    That’s why we’re glad to see the growing use of passkeys. It is simple to log in using your phone to prove your identity.

    Your computer will use Bluetooth to verify that you are nearby, then send a verification message to your phone. Next, unlock your phone in the usual way, with your face, fingerprint, or PIN. And that’s it. You’re in.

    Apple has started using Passkeys with iOS 16. Google and Microsoft will offer them in the near future as well.
