Here’s how it works: When you’re in Edge and find yourself staring at an empty text field—whether it’s the body of an email, a comment box, or any other space for text—simply right-click. You’ll see an option labeled ‘Draft with Copilot.’
Click on it, and a window will appear. Enter the subject or topic you need text for, hit ‘Generate,’ and within seconds, Copilot will produce a draft on the specified topic.
You can then easily customize the generated text to fit your style by adjusting the tone and length. Need the text to be more formal or casual? Shorter or longer? No problem.

Right now, ‘Draft with Copilot’ is in the Edge Canary preview build, meaning it’s still being fine-tuned.
